Okay, so much of the world seems to be divided on AI. But as you can see, here at Artvengers, we LOVE it! Y'see, Artvengers is a show Harland created that he pitched to all the major studios in Hollywood: Disney, DreamWorks, Apple, Netflix, Nickelodeon, etc. They all PASSED.

In the world before AI, this project probably would have gone with Harland to his grave. A show impossible to make without the support of a big studio and the animation infrastructure that comes with it. And trust me, after five years of creating Puppy Dog Pals with Disney, I know what a massive undertaking it is.

 

But now, with AI, we've been able to bypass the massive expenses, crew, studio, network, and all the other hundreds of moving pieces. AI is letting us do things in a week that would normally take a crew of hundreds, six months to complete, and that's being generous. And not only is the work being done faster, the look and feel of the visuals, in many cases, are surpassing past and existing animated shows and movies. It's quite mindboggling, and we are loving the ride. We love this new frontier, exploring it, experimenting with it, and creating with it. And even better, no one to tell us how to create our art! The art is now back in the hands of the artist, not executives and money people.

With this new technology comes a lot of learning and figuring things out. As you'll see in each episode of Artvengers, you'll find lots of little technical errors along the way, but we're not affected because we understand we are working with an emerging technology. A technology that seems to get better with each passing day. Therefore, we invite you to come on the journey with us and watch the show evolve, watch the mistakes start to disappear as things get more and more refined. We find it fascinating, and are excited that you get to watch the transformation with us. It's almost like watching a little kid grow up and learn how to function.

Some argue that AI is stealing jobs and will destroy the industry, but remember, film used to be silent, and only black and white, and only shot on film. Well, look at it now: sound, color, digital! Yes, art changes and pushes boundaries, and technology is part of the art. So, I guess you either push art forward, or stay stubborn in the past. But to us, what is most important is getting the material out to a world that never would of seen it without AI.

The Artvengers is a show aimed at inspiring future artists and creative people. Encouraging them to embrace their art and talent. As an artist myself, surrounded by other artists, it's fair to say we are a strange breed. Often reclusive, maybe withdrawn, shy, introverted, or over-the-top outrageous. Choosing art as a career path, calling, or life goal is not always easy or encouraged.

Artvengers is a show that lets kids know that their artistic skills are a true gift, a talent, a blessing. And in a world filled with superheroes defeating the world with laser guns, spiderwebs, magic capes and wands, this show is about kids using their artistic gifts and talents as weapons and saving the world with their own skills and creativity; their ART!
